Jané - Matrix Cup

The Matrix Lie-Flat car seat has been designed for your baby's health and protection in the car, from birth to approximately 18 months (13Kg in weight). It has been approved in accordance with the new European ECE R44/03 safety standards and can be used in either the front or back of the car.

It is the only car seat on the market that can be used in the car like a carrycot lying flat or as a infant car seat in the car sitting upright.

The Matrix has proved to be one of the most revolutionary healthiest and safest car seats on the market, specially designed to protect your baby in the car and on the pram.

Pro-fix system

The "Pro" generation of models utilise a "connection-free" fastening system which can be done with just one hand. This fastening system is called "Pro-fix" and replaced "Easy-fix". The "Pro" generation of pushchairs are:

• More practical: all the intermediate connections are eliminated
• Easier: use with just one hand, leaving the other free to attend to your baby or to take another child's hand, hold shopping, etc...
• Safer: the "Pro" fastening is locked automatically and mechanically, making it impossible to be badly installed

The Pro-fix kit can be attached to either a Nomad Pro or Slalom Pro pushchair, thus converting to a traditional style pram to a travel system.

• Complies with the European Car Safety Regulations ECE R44/04 in both sit-up and lie-flat positions in the car
• Passes the NCAP in the Group 0+ sitting up rearward facing position
• Comes complete with a fabric hood and apron to convert into a carrycot
• The Matrix backrest can be adjusted easily from the outside, which avoids disturbing your baby if he's asleep. Easily adjustable to 4 different positions
• Designed to maximise your baby's comfort in the car or on the pushchair
• The first completely lie-flat car seat, can be used like a carry cot or infant car seat
• In the lie-flat position, the Matrix only takes up two seat belts. In the back it can use one side and middle seat belt leaving one seat free for another car seat or adult
• One pull adjustable harness
• Side-impact tested - going beyond regulatory requirements
• Reclining hood/handle, activated with the lever on the handle
• Pro-Fix fastening - just press the centre button on the handle to release the car seat from your chassis
• Includes matching cushion, chest and buckle pads (can also be fitted to the pushchair)
• Available in all colours to match the prams in the Jané Pro range (pictured in Meteorite)
