Terms of business

All prices stated on this website include VAT.

Delivery

We will only deliver goods to the address that the credit/debit card used is registered to.

Delivery charges

Orders over the value of £50 will qualify for free delivery to addresses in mainland UK only. Delivery charges for orders under the value of £50 will charged at £4.95 per order.

Where an order consists of both stock and non-stock items, free delivery will only apply if the order is dispatched when the entire order is ready. If you wish to have individual items dispatched when they are ready standard delivery charges will apply for items under £50.

Delivery times

Orders for stock items to addresses in mainland UK, which are received by 12 noon (Monday-Friday), will be dispatched the same day.

Where items are not kept in stock, the typical delivery time to us from the manufacturer is indicated on the page for the item. The item will be dispatched to your once received. Some items may take up to 8 weeks delivery depending on demand and colour.

If an item is out of stock with our suppliers we will contact you as soon as possible (within 24 hours Monday-Friday) to inform you of the expected time of delivery. Once the goods are delivered to us, we will contact you again to advise they are being dispatched. Alternatively you have the right to cancel your order if the goods are out of stock with our suppliers and a full refund will be given.

Delivery procedure

We will contact you by email on the day the goods are dispatched.

Most items are sent by FedEx, our couriers, on a 24 hour delivery service. They deliver Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Smaller packages will be sent by Royal Mail and can take up to 4 days.

All goods must be signed for on delivery. Please sign for goods as "unchecked" and check all items at the earliest possible opportunity. Any damages or shortages must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of goods.

Should our couriers attempt to make a delivery when you are not at home, they will leave a card with a telephone number. You can either ring to arrange another delivery time, or collect your goods from their depot. If you collect the goods, please take identification with you. If you do not arrange collection of your goods within 5 working days, the goods will automatically be returned to us. If re-delivery is required you will be liable to pay the return carriage fee by phone, using a credit or debit card.

If a customer refuses delivery once an item has been dispatched we will charge a fee equivalent to the full carriage charge to us.

Cancellations

In the rare event that you wish to cancel you order, please contact us by email or telephone. Please include your order number, name and address.

You may cancel your order at any time, but we ask you to advise us of any cancellation at your earliest convenience.

If your cancellation is received after the order has been dispatched, we will charge a fee equivalent to the full carriage charge to us.

Returns

Please read your instruction leaflet supplied with your goods before trying it. We do not offer a try before you buy service.

Any item purchase through this website may be returned within 7 days of delivery under our "no quibble" guarantee. This "no quibble" guarantee is in addition to any manufacturer's guarantee.

All returns must be unused, unworn, unwashed and unaltered in any way from their original condition and in the original packing. If the packaging has been torn whilst opening or original packaging is missing this will invalidate your refund. If goods have been removed from the box and re-packed an inspection fee £15.00 will be charged. Please ensure that all parts are returned.

Any costs incurred when returning items must be paid for by the customer.

All refunds will be processed within 30 days.

Returns procedure

Please contact us by email to obtain a returns number, including your order number, name and address and give a valid reason for return.

The returns number must be attached to the outside of the packaging containing the goods.

Please obtain a Certificate of Posting (available free from the Post Office), or other proof of carriage, for all returns.

Failure to comply with the instructions above may result in unecessary delays in processing any refund or exchange.

Prams and pushchairs

Please be aware that prams and pushchairs should only be tried indoors on carpet. If tried outdoors and the wheels are marked your option to return the goods will be void.

Car seats

Car seats must not have the security tag removed from the harness as this will void your option to return the goods.

For safety reasons please ensure the car seat you have ordered fits your car before ordering, this can not be used as a reason for return. You may find help on our links to the maxi-cosi fit finder or the britax fit finder.

Warranties

Most nursery goods come with a 6 month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing faults. The exceptions to this are Maclaren, Phil and Ted, and Out 'n' About (who give a 12 month warranty) and Bugaboo (who give a 2 year warranty).

Some manufacturers offer an extended warranty if you register your goods online with them (i.e. Silvercross and Cosatto). Please refer to the manufacturer's warranty card and their terms and conditions for more information.

All warranties are valid from the date of purchase.

Warranties are non-transferable. The attachment of a BuggyBoard to a pram or buggy may invalidate a manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty procedure

In the unlikely event that you a problem with goods we have supplied, please contact us immediately by e-mail or phone. You will be required to supply your order number, date of purchase, name and address so we can locate a copy of your order.

If it is decided that the goods need to be returned for inspection, this will be at the purchaser's expense. We then forward your goods to the manufacturer for their inspection. If it is found that a manufacturing fault exists, this will be rectified at our or our supplier's expense and any carriage costs incurred may be refunded. At all times we consider our suppliers decision in relation to complaints as final, they have more experience in these matters than ourselves. It is very rare for a supplier to issue a refund, but they have a legal right to repair or replace the goods.

We all have accidents and if the repair is classed as a non-manufacturing nature there could be a charge for repair. This and all carriage costs are your responsibility. Proof of purchase must be retained and shown as evidence of the warranty. If you have any questions regarding a product under warranty please contact us for guidance.

We reserve the right to send out replacement parts (free of charge) if your purchase is more than 28 days old. If we send out replacement parts we may require the damaged ones to be returned to us immediately if requested by the manufacturer.

Product representations

Bambino reserve the right to alter any details of the products featured on this website without prior notice. All sizes and weights are approximate and are intended as a guide only.

Representations of colours are approximate only, due to the limitations of photographic equipment and display devices. All images used on this website are protected by copyright and should not be used without pemission of the owner. All product illustrations have been reproduced by permission of suppliers.

Privacy policy

No customer details are requested by this website unless a customer chooses to contact us by using the feedback form. The details submitted using this feedback form are not stored on this website.

When a customer places an order the following details may be requested: name; address; telephone number; email address; and credit/debit card details. These details are collected solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order and are not retained once an order has been completed. Credit/debit card details should only be enter on the secure payment pages. Credit/debit card details should never be sent via email. Bambino accept no responsibility for any unauthorised transactions that may occur if a customer sends debit/credit card details using this method.

Bambino do not disclose any customers' information to third parties without the consent of the customer. Information will be disclosed to third parties when this is essential for the purpose of processing an order e.g. for delivery of goods.

We do not send unsolicited emails and only email customers to confirm an order or in response to communication direct from a customer.
